Dafni & Myrto's Sth African Dresses

Making memories last by creating new ones.

When Aphrodite was going to christen her twin daughters, one of the godmothers had grown up in South Africa. She brought a shawl that had sentimental value and wanted to pass it down to her goddaughter and her twin sister.

Thinking about what we could do, we knew that we couldn’t really cut into this fabric and had to keep the border. We had a few limitations, but our signature grecian dress was the perfect pattern for this shawl. By adding lace to the top and cotton rope straps, we kept a natural feel to it, and added a Hellenic style for its makeover.
